Ich mache nur Fotos mit vorhandenem Licht (available light). Studio-Aufnahmen kosten viel Geld, da hier Kosten für Miete oder Eigentum mit berücksichtigt werden müssen, die bei TFP nicht kostendeckend gemacht werden können.

Themen bei der Foto-Session / Topics for the photo session

Wenn nicht schon im Vorfeld vereinbart, kann vor oder während der Foto-Session die Bereiche/Themen besprochen/festgelegt werden. Hier kann auch durchaus passend zum Charakter vom Fotomodel das zusammen festgelegt werden. Besonders wenn man sich im Vorfeld nicht kennen lernen konnte, ist das sinnvoll. Je nach Charakter und Wünsche passen bestimmte Themen besser bzw. kommen die Wunschfotos heraus. Es gibt helle und dunkle Typen, sprich helle Hintergründe/Aufbauten bzw. eher dunkle/spannende.
 
If not agreed in advance, the areas/topics can be discussed/defined before or during the photo session. Here it is also possible to determine together with the photo model a theme that fits her character. Especially if you could not get to know each other in advance, this is useful. Anzahl von Fotos / Quantity of photos

Während Foto-Sessions entstehen sehr viel Fotos. Das passiert auch deshalb, da natürlich nicht alle (wenn man es genau nimmt 2-5% der) Fotos gut werden. Kleine Nuancen im Gesichtsausdruck/Körperspannung etc. machen den entscheidenden Unterschied (und manchmal kommt der Augenschlag zum falschen Zeitpunkt). Das ist aber OK und keine Frage der Qualität, sondern Normal. Auch im Profibereich ist das nicht anders – nur wird man dort nie die nicht optimalen Bilder sehen. Daher die große Anzahl der Fotos (was für den Fotografen auch eine sehr große Nachbearbeitungszeit bedeutet mit Sichten, Auswählen und Optimierungen). Auch das gehört zu TFP und es kommen auch hier keine Kosten auf das Model zu.

During photo sessions a lot of photos are taken. This happens because not all (if you take it exactly 2-5% of the) photos will be good. Small nuances in facial expression/body tension etc. make the crucial difference (and sometimes the eye blink comes at the wrong time). But this is OK and not a question of quality, but normal. It's no different in the professional sector - only you will never see the suboptimal pictures there. Hence the large number of photos (which also means a lot of post-processing time for the photographer with viewing, selecting and optimizing). This also belongs to TFP and there are no costs for the model.

Wann bekommt man als Fotomodel die Fotos/in welcher Form / When does a model get the photos/ in which form

Accepted Answer

Durch die Bearbeitungszeit bekommt man i.d.R. nicht sofort die Fotos bzw. nur einzelne. Sprich man bekommt die Fotos dann als Downloadmöglichkeit oder auf Datenträger (oder Beides) – das ist einfach eine Frage der Vereinbarung zwischen beiden. Dies sollte im Vertrag geregelt werden.
 
Due to the processing time you usually do not get the photos immediately or only single ones. That means you get the photos as downloads or on data medium (or both) - that is simply a question of agreement between the model and photographer.. This should be regulated in the contract.

Question 5

Vertrag zwecks Nutzungsrechte / Contract for rights of use

Für die Nutzungsrechte wird i.d.R. ein Vertrag gemacht. Hier ist die Nutzungsmöglichkeit geregelt. Nach deutschen Recht hat sowohl der/die/das (W/M/D) Abgebildete das Recht am eigenen Bild (sprich der Fotograf kann nichts mit dem Foto anfangen, wenn es keine Zustimmung durch das Fotomodel gibt) und der Fotograf hat auch Rechte, sprich das Fotomodel kann ohne die Zustimmung des Fotografen auch nicht viel mit den Fotos machen. Daher der Vertrag, der beide die entsprechenden Rechte einräumt. Dabei gibt es von meiner Seite keine großen Einschränkungen, sprich als Model kann man seine Fotos beliebig verwenden.
 
A contract is usually made for the rights of use. Here the possibility of use is regulated. According to German law, both the (F/M/D) person depicted has the right to his/her own picture (i.e. the photographer cannot do anything with the photo if there is no approval by the model) and the photographer also has rights, i.e. the model cannot do much with the photos without the approval of the photographer. Hence the contract, which grants both of them the corresponding rights. There are no big restrictions from my side, i.e. as a model you can use your photos as you like.

Anfassen ist nicht ! Never touching !

Besonders als Frau möchte man nicht angefasst werden. Daher erfolgen die Anweisungen beim Fotografieren mündlich bzw. wird gezeigt. Es wird nicht angefasst. Leider wird das von manchen Fotografen nicht respektiert, obwohl eine Fotosession durch Anfassen sofort zum Flop werden kann, weil die Stimmung im Keller ist und das auch auf alle weiteren Fotos sichtbar wird.

Unfortunately some photographers do not respect this, although a photo session can immediately become a flop by touching, because the atmosphere is in the basement and this is also visible on all further photos.

Question 7

Fremder Mensch – Begleitperson / stranger - accompanying person

Begleitperson ist bei mir problemlos möglich. Das kann auch Unsicherheit beseitigen, da man als Fotomodel nicht alleine mit einer erst einmal fremden Person (Fotograf) ist. Hier ist der Lebensgefährte nicht unbedingt die beste Wahl, da bei manchen Lebensgefährten auf einmal Eifersucht ausbricht (was im Aktbereich manchmal passiert) (was auch eine schlechte Basis für optimale Fotos ist).
Die Begleitperson kann auch gut für Haltearbeiten von Licht und Lichtformer eingesetzt werden.
Begleitperson ist möglich, aber kein muss. Verbietet das ein Fotograf, dann direkt nachfragen warum. Hier geht Sicherheit vor. Bei Kindern obliegt es immer den Erziehungsberechtigten welche Person als Begleitperson eingesetzt wird. Das kann auch Oma und Opa sein oder Verwandte oder Freunde.
Hier ist zu beachten dass mir die Person vorgestellt werden muss, die dann auch im Vertrag genannt wird. Die Vorstellung kann direkt erfolgen (RL im realen Umfeld, persönlich oder in digitaler Form mit Bild. Hier ist es sinnvoll wenn beide Personen auf dem Foto zu sehen sind (Selfie, Mutter/Oma oder andere Konstellationen) Diese Fotos werden nicht veröffentlicht sondern sind Bestandteil des Vertrages vergleichbar mit der Unterschrift.
 
eine andere Möglichkeit ist ein handschriftliches Begleitschreiben mit Unterschrift des Erziehungsberechtigten so wie man es auch handhabt, wenn Kinder vom Kindergarten, Schule oder Hort abgeholt werden. Das dient der Rechtsicherheit auf beiden Seiten.
 
Accompanying person is possible with me without any problems. This can also eliminate uncertainty, because as a model you are not alone with a stranger (photographer). The companion can also be used well for holding light and light shaper.

Manche Menschen haben länger Kleidungsabdrücke auf der Haut, was je nach Thema ungeschickt ist. Hier sehe ich immer wieder heftige Abdrücke von BH und engen Jeans.
Insbesondere bei Akt aber auch für die geplanten Beamerbilder (z.B. auf Schulter) sollten keine Kleidungsabdrücke vorhanden sein, da ansonsten der Bearbeitungsaufwand im Nachhinein sehr aufwändig werden kann.
Daher also bei der Anfahrt Kleidungsabdrücke zu vermeiden. Profimodel reisen teilweise im Jogginganzug an.
 
Some people have pressure marks on their skin for longer, which is awkward depending on the subject. Here I see again and again violent pressure marks of bra and tight jeans.
Especially for nude but also for the planned beamer pictures (e.g. on shoulder) there should be no pressure marks on the skin, because otherwise the processing time can be very expensive afterwards.
Therefore it is important to avoid pressure marks when driving to the location. Professional models sometimes arrive in jogging suits.

Fotosessions haben eine Suchtgefahr – es herrscht eine gute Stimmung, alle haben das Ziel, optimale Fotos zu machen, man bekommt schnell gutes Feedback und als Ergebnis hat man besondere Fotos von sich in der Hand.
